Sorry for the lack of updates, it’s been a really hectic time at work. I know I’m not the only one who sometimes feels frustrated because your ideas aren’t being heard, you encounter issues with others because they don’t seem to be working to the same level and dedication to their work as you do, or that people in general seem to have less awareness and respect for others.
There are times when it feels like there are problems in the world and we’re only small people, but I wanted to share a quote that really spoke to me that I feel would be relevant to a lot of you too.
People tend to make initial judgments about people without really knowing them. If you have dreams and determination, don’t let others’ disbelief or negativity stop you from achieving those dreams. A lot of people are happy to go with the flow and not make ripples. Not that we all make big waves, but small ripples drive small changes; a change in thought, a way of working, a mindset.
A lot of people were surprised to see I’ve got the word ‘Fool’ tattooed on my wrist. ‘Why would you get the word Fool tattooed on your wrist?’ they would ask. That’s a story for another day, but the point I want to make is this: don’t let the opinion of others stop you from achieving your potential.
What others think of you is none of your business, you only need to forge ahead with what you believe to be true and right for you.
