It’s been a lovely week and a half of doing what I wanted to do, relaxing and not having to worry about office politics or meeting deadlines at work; just setting my own deadlines for myself and doing what I needed to do around the house. Being in a completely different environment (ie back at work) where you’re following other people’s rules and meeting tight timescales, I thought this would be a good time to post words of inspiration to help us all through a new week.

We might not all go through life stages at the same time or in the same way, but in one way or another, even the person next to you could be carrying some pretty weighty baggage that is stressing them out. You don’t necessarily need to find a life partner to share your stressors with, but I think it is important to be able to share your stress with someone you trust who would be able to share that load with you.
Don’t keep it all inside. Speaking to someone about your stress and having someone understand what you’re going through can help unload the burden. Let someone else lend you their shoulder to cry on or an ear to listen when you need it.
You don’t always have to be the one listening to everyone else’s problems and giving them your shoulder; true friends will want to share your burdens too.
